Workshop: Hardware Hacking 4.0

Location: This workshop was  hosted by Science Gallery, Trinity College Dublin on Pearse Street in The Naughton Institute

Instructors: Led by Benjamin Gaulon [IE] for DATA (Dublin Art and Technology Association), part of BIORHYTHM

Benjamin Gaulon is an artist, researcher and has a broad experience of acting as art consultant, public and conference speaker, graphic designer, art college lecturer. Benjamin Gaulon is also organiser / Curator for DATA (Dublin Art and Technology Association) and co-founder and formerly co-director of IMOCA (Irish Museum of Contemporary Art).

Workshop Description: Recycle and reuse those old electronic toys, video game joysticks or even your old dancing shoes. At this workshop, participants will learn how to use electronic hacking to create a musical instrument and use their entire body as the interface for playing music. Materials will be provided but feel free to bring along your own toys!

No electronics skills required. Workshop open to ALL. Limited to 10 participants…
